I created the corporate logo for Bluezone inc., a start-up company from the University of Tokyo developing a running coaching AI.
As Bluezone is a very young start-up company, the aspirations of the founding members had not yet been articulated into a clear mission and vision for the company.
Thus, I first organized and proposed the story of the company's foundation, the vision of the future to be realized by their technology, the relationship with stakeholders, the mission and the vision, based on the interviews to founders.
We then developed design concepts and proposed visual identities.
The final logo consists of a symbol of a runner receiving a baton, representing the initial B of the company name, and an italic gothic logotype that gives a dynamic and contemporary impression.
We designed the logo not only to facilitate communication with external stakeholders, but also to get the founding members motivated.
